Favorite bike racer: Jens Voight

The Tour Of California proved that Jens Voight is worthy of favorite status. He finished second overall, won a stage, and drilled it in the last few km when leading out his sprinter. At one point he looked around and realized he dropped his sprinter and everyone else.

Favorit thing #2 Pavement reissues

I instantly love Slanted and Enchanted and Crooked Rain Crooked Rain. It took a little longer to become obsessed with Wowee Zowee. The slacker sound with melody was refreshing during a time when all I heard was grunge bands and wanna be grunge bands. I couldn't wait to get my fingers on these reissues. They sound as fresh today as they did in the early 90s. These records still get played a few times a week.
